Ok, let’s put aside the stupidity of the fact that Ted Turner can’t decide to live or not, there’s another I would like to focus on.
“…it’s an important decision to go to war or not to go to war.”
Yep, Ted Turner thinks the terrorists are waiting anxiously at their mailboxes for the USA’s reply to their invitation as to go to war or not.
This is the message of 9/11: There is a war. You don’t get to decide if you want to participate or not.
George W. Bush took that message to heart.
Ted Turner and the left would like to pretend it’s an RSVP – and they’ve thrown theirs away.

Full quote from NewsBusters:
You know, this, this, there are a lot of things about this war that disturb me, and one of them is, uh, one of them is the attitude that, you know, that was well-expressed by our president. He said it very clearly, he said “Either you’re with us, or you’re against us.” And, I had a problem with that because I really hadn’t made my mind up yet. You know, what if you haven’t made your mind up. You know, what if you’re thinking about it, doing some studying, doing some reading. Because this is an important decision to go to war or whether or not to go to war. I mean either you’re with us or against us…that’s pretty black and white.

Hot Air weights in and points out that at the time Bush made his “with or against” comments, even Al Gore was rooting for war with Iraq.
