Diversity in National & Labour’s Behaviour

Apparently Key’s looking to use the list to bring in a bit more spice to the National line-up. ACT used this method to good use - they had a very diverse line-up - so I don’t see anything wrong with National doing that too within reason.
But as I was listening to National Radio’s “The Panel” talking about this, I started to think about what the next parliament would look like.
One thing that has marked this one is the constant harping on by Labour about how very very bad the last National government was. I’m quite certain that National will not do this - we’re happy to admit that Labour have (for a change) not screwed over the country too much (on the economic front anyway) compared to usual.
What struck me was that people are going to see their politicians actually running the country instead of constantly harping on about the past, trying to score cheap points. I think that that marked change is going to make this Labour government look very bad in hindsight as people realise how negative and backward looking they always were.
We’re also going to see much better behaviour in parliament as ministers actually answer questions. The current habit of not doing so, with Wilson backing the ministers, has lead to constant open revolt in the house.

John: Let’s throw in a few brownies with our lot to make the ignorant public think we’re accepting of everyone
Bill: Yep. Sounds good, bro.
