Jena 6

I’d like to comment fully on the Jena 6 situation at some point, but I don’t have time at present. But Patterico has some facts that you most likely won’t see in the media.
Seems to me that the white guys were in the wrong with some extremely hateful racist attitudes that should be condemned by all. We are told they did not break any laws, and I hope for the sake of the guy who let the off that that is true, but I doubt that.
More importantly, why is there in 2007 a tree that only white people can sit under?
On the other hand, the black guys broke the law in a big way. There’s not a shadow of a doubt about that. There’s no question of letting them go as many of these campaigners are saying, but it’s also doubtful that the charges laid are fully justifiable.
