I’m doing some analysis of the Electoral Bill submissions.
Looks like it’s going to take a long time to complete (almost finished the “B”s), but I thought I’d share a thought.
About 2/3 of those I’ve read so far are against the bill.
The next biggest group is people writing stuff to the effect “um, stop these evil things National’s doing”, but not actually saying clearly that they support or want the bill amended. These cover 1/6, and the rest is split evenly between “amend” and “support”.
Not many carefully thought out submissions too. Hm, sounds like this blog…
