LLPOF Bradford Still Going

There’s a reason that Sue Bradford has often been called a liar. It’s because she is one, and she has not stopped even now.

“Last Friday, Barbara Bishop was sentenced to nine months jail for her part in an assault on her son, still claiming that it was her right as a ‘good parent’ to discipline her children.

Quite what that means is beyond me. I assume she is trying to imply that the Mrs Bishop’s thought her actions were justified as discipline. This is nonsense of the worst kind, since she plead guilty to several assault charges at the first opportunity.

This is a woman who had been used over and over again in the campaign against the Section 59 bill as evidence that the law didn’t need changing.

Actually, this case was used time and time again by Sue and others to “prove” the law did need changing and the opponents responded to those claims. What’s more, the facts of the case were pretty much always exaggerated - Sue made mention of “whips” many times, in spite of the fact that a whip was never, ever used. The same thing happened in another case where a child was smacked with a “piece of wood” the size of a ruler.
