A variant of some weird Christian intermediate thingy

“He destroyed and broke up my family over a bit of paint.”

I see that Bruce Emery has been sent down for 4 years for killing the boy who tagged his property.

Brace yourselves for another round of leftys claiming that public sympathy for this man is racism, rather than the fact that Bruce initially acted as a victim of one of the most common and hardest to stop crimes in the country.

But this case should most of all be a sober reminder of the results of sin, both of the young boy who paid for it with his life, and the man who failed to control his anger, leading to such deadly results.

Update: True to form

Bruce Emery’s sentence of just four years and three months on a reduced charge of manslaughter for chasing 15 year old Pihema Cameron 300 metres down the street and stabbing him to death with a knife is a stark reminder of the institutional racism that still exists in this country.

Let’s not pretend for a second that Emery would have got off so lightly if he was an unemployed Maori and his victim a middle class Pakeha child, tagger or not.

And

Meaning it might be tricky to let the white guy off problematic to deliver a sentence on a defendant with vocal public backing – sold as the Pakeha version of Michael Douglas’s angry white middle class American male character in the film Falling Down. It is difficult because all the other cases of this type are MURDER.

(Apparently the jury was racist too.)

Interesting how these same blogs that are so quick to take this opportunity to throw around the race card have not (like a great many of the blogs I read)  linked to the bushfires appeal.

Anyway, no response from NRT yet, but I have no doubt that I/S will not be missing a red hot chance to spread vile hate like The Standard and Tumeke!
