I’m going to make a bold prediction.
Within 12 hours we will see at least one left wing blog tell us that shopkeepers have now been given the right to beat up anyone they don’t like the look of in their shop.
Never mind the subtleties of the fact that one actually tried to knife him and other details like that…
Such is the way of the left – simplify away all the detail and exaggerate any conceivable results.

If ANY blog, left, centre or right, makes the statement that you prophesy, they are pathetic. I will, however, say how delighted I personally am to see that Mr. Singh has no case to answer. I know all about being falsely accused of something and being considered guilty until proven innocent. I tried to phone Mr. Singh to offer my congratulations, but his line was busy. Doubtless others phoning to offer their congratulations.
Can no one else see the double standard here? (Remember Emery/Pihama?)
White kiwis have been raped murdered and robbed for 150 years and an asian can waltz in and do this with the media saying “Well 2 other shopkeepers were killed in Sth Auckland. Asians being targeted blah blah”. Did Emery get a “Well thousands of white people were attacked in their homes”? Emery was painted as an “angry white man who killed a poor innocent underprivileged brown boy in cold blood just for a bit of paint” when he was just trying to catch them and was ambushed (He had already caught a car thief and held him until cops arrived in the past). You could look at this case in the same way “angry asian man brutally beats poor innocent underprivileged brown boy around the head with a hockey stick in cold blood (while he was being held down no less) just for an icecream and some cigarettes.”
To sum up congrats to Mr Singh but the media has really jumped the queue on your behalf here. Asian groups get massive sympathetic media exposure while white groups are still demonized.
