Well, I’ve been using Blogger over at Yes Vote fail and I have one thing to say.
It’s terrible.
Why does anyone use this thing? The text editing is horrible compared to wordpress. There are all sorts of quirks – and if you hit one of them undo almost never undoes the mistake.
It might be because I’m not an administrator on the blog, but actually doing anything is hard too. While wordpress has dozens of options scattered throughout the sidebars, Blogger has only a handful. If you want to insert a link, the insert dialog is a modal form, meaning you can’t switch to another tab to get the address like I’m used to doing.
How on earth is a platform that so popular? WordPress had several failings when I started using it (back then, they had less than a million blogs on it) but it’s improved over those 3 years.
What’s blogger’s excuse?

It’s much easier to see and leave comments on WordPress blogs too.
Commenting in WordPress is marvelous, as are a number of other aspects.
However I love the versatility of customized coding that you can do in Blogger. Not only within posts, but you can reconfigure the whole template pretty easily…
In saying that, I’m considering moving across myself.
