What? You want common sense from the enviromental movement?

Several commentators have pointed out the stupidity of the protest action yesterday.

All I have to say is, since when did enviromenal protests have to make any sense?

These protests are about getting on TV, and creating mischief. Rarely do they actually address the real issue, and can even cause issues where none existed before such as in Canada where banning the hunting of seals plunged whole communities into poverty and depression.
