There’d be few well dressed corpses round here if that were law in NZ. Here, people take what they want, what they think they can get away with, including your property rights, especially if they’re affluent, and get all indignant and insulting when you ask them to have a bit of consideration.
On a lighter note, a clearly displayed “Beware of the Dog” or “Break in, make his day” sign stops almost every visitor in their tracks. Visitor filtering/security that’s worth more than the $6 it cost.
