This is actually quite scary.
What surprises me about it, is the way that the water initially comes gradually but quickly and steadily builds until it simply washes away that which appeared a few minutes ago to be quite solid.

That’s just amazing. I always imagined a tsunami to be a certain height as it came in, not something that increased in height the more it came in. Freaky. I presume those who took the footage survived?
