Labour laws blamed for growing number of strikes
I was going to quote National on this, but then I saw the money quote:

Yesterday CTU president Ross Wilson said most of the strikes in the past year were due to “unjustified employer resistance” to worker claims.

Translation: Not all employers are prepared to just roll over for us.
