When Labour draws their swords, I’ll be praying

Queen Helen is shaking in her heels while she poses for the next photo that will later be photoshoped for all to see that she has self esteem issues, while Prince Michael counts his surplus yet again and keeps the rest of us in suspense: shall we or shant we have tax cuts or give more to police, to hospital waiting lists, to those in real need? It’s becoming all a bit too much for Labour, who thought they could just do what ever suited them and get away with it (but the public isn’t fooled that easily): their little liberal kingdom is falling about all around them.

Reluctant to fly the surrender flag and admit defeat, they decide to have a Party Conference instead to boost morale including an optional workshop to inform all, who swear allegiance to Queen Helen, how they can know when they are being victimised by the Exclusive Brethren and the Religious Right.

Hold on one minute!

Who’s the real victim here? And do the real victims plan to stand up and raise their voice against Labours blatant anti-Christian stance. Well I certainly do.

Enough is Enough!

If the “religious right” told Labour they were praying for them, would Labour feel victimised? I’m not quite sure how anything Christian can make a non christian feel like a victim. Sure they feel threatened – Governments all over are threatened by Christians (I have already blogged on this but may do again); there are people out there who don’t like what they are doing and are prepared to do something about it. I am going to be one of those people. I take offence at Labour’s Conference. If they want to be “exclusive” and “exclude” the Exclusive Brethren and the Religious Right, fine. What do they mean by Religious Right anyway? Does that include me? I’m a Christian. I’m not necessarily right wing. But I’m definitely not standing guard in Labour’s Camp. I’ve decided I am going to pray hard for Labour. You might say, it’ll take more than prayer’s to change them. Maybe. At this point a song by Delirious? comes to mind.

Here are lyrics. If I could link to this song, I would. It is great song. I’d love to blast it at the Labour Conference.

History Maker

Is it true today that when people pray
Cloudless skies will break
Kings and queens will shake
Yes it’s true and I believe it
I’m living for you

Is it true today that when people pray
We’ll see dead men rise
And the blind set free
Yes it’s true and I believe it
I’m living for you

I’m gonna be a history maker in this land
I’m gonna be a speaker of truth to all mankind
I’m gonna stand, I’m gonna run
Into your arms, into your arms again
Into your arms, into your arms again

Well it’s true today that when people stand
With the fire of God, and the truth in hand
We’ll see miracles, we’ll see angels sing
We’ll see broken hearts making history
Yes it’s true and I believe it
We’re living for you
