Watched the racing last night.
Very tight, all the way through. NZ was in front from the start, but not ever in any way comfortably so.
They are both very closely matched boats at the medium wind speeds we saw last night. But there’s a good side to this – the Italians are tuned to light speeds, but we are also good at higher wind speeds. Meaning that if the wind picks up, we’re going to leave them for dead.
Start puffing! 🙂

I should explain at this point ScrubOne’s law of sport spectator-ship.
The law simply states that if ScrubOne’s interest is gained to the point where he starts watching, that is a sign that his team is about to collapse.
This does not apply to yachting.
That is all.
