Does anyone understand this?
According to Gerry Brownlee, “bright sparks” is now a term of abuse. I guess National really is the party of stupidity.
I only ask because the linked press release only uses the term in it’s common sarcastic sense. Nowhere does Brownlee define it as a term of abuse.
I’m sure I’ve seen him do this before – it’s almost as though IS defines anything in a National press release as “abuse” then calls National stupid if it isn’t. Bizarre.
This is why I only read one lefty blog. I’m worried that this sort of craziness is infectious.
