This video is quite interesting. A father (who is a biologist) and son have taken NASA temperature data from urban locations and nearby rural ones.
They then analyse the data and discovered that the rural sites are not warming, but the cities are.
What this suggests is that the earth itself is not getting warmer, but rather limited areas (know as cities) are.
Actually, now that I think about it I know a farmer who’s been taking weather observations for several decades. I once asked him if he’s noticed any global warming and he just laughed.
Hat Tip Say Hello to my Little Friend, where David W in comments says that the study must be flawed because the IPCC allows for such things. Clearly that would suggest that one is wrong, and the weight of authority suggests that the youtube video is.
It would be interesting to independently verify the study, it doesn’t look too hard to do. Maybe I’ll give it a go when I have time.
