On Katrina, Bush said he didn’t land Air Force One to view the submerged New Orleans up close because he was worried about taking resources away from rescue efforts.
Fact is, had he landed that’s the criticism that he would have faced.
It was a dammed if you do, dammed if you don’t situation, and I personally believe he did the right thing.
