Matthew Hooton submitted on the Electoral Finance Bill under his company name, Exceltium Limited. It includes this gem.

The Committee may also like to note that the Bill’s proposed spending
limits of $60,000 in 2007 dollars would be just $18,024.71 in 1981 dollars. It
would be extraordinary for the Committee to argue that the anti-apartheid
movement should have been limited to this amount in 1981. It is noteworthy
that not even the Government of Sir Robert Muldoon sought to clamp down
on the anti-apartheid movement to this degree.
